ctor Chadwick Boseman, best known for playing Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, died Friday of colon cancer at the age of 43. His family announced the news on Twitter:

In addition to appearing in four MCU films, including his starring role in Black Panther, Boseman also played real-life Black heroes Jackie Robinson, James Brown, and Thurgood Marshall.
